October Moodboard, Intentions, and Playlist

October, Witchy Intentions

Welcome to October. This month makes me feel magical, cozy, and in a celebratory mood. I will be spending the month getting clear on my goals, my finances, and the creative projects I want to pursue for the rest of the year. I will be pulling out my knitting projects, tucking into my book list, and experimenting with my camera again.

In the spirit of two full moons this month, I created this moodboard to feel a little witchy, but also grounded and comforting. I love how the color palette is translational across so many spectrums of business because of it's balance and earthiness. It feels unique but also serious and I think it would lend itself well to a luxury coaching business, retail, or even something in the culinary realm like a restaurant or chef.

Intentions This Month:

After reading Ramit Sethi's I Will Teach You To Be Rich, I have decided that I want to be fully intentional in every area of my life, including my finances. I have ignored my bank accounts in the past and thought that investing was something only available to wealthy people. I learned so much from reading this book and feel empowered to start my journey towards becoming debt-free and financially independent. If you haven't had a chance to read this book I cannot recommend it enough. I wish I had learned this information 10 years ago before I ever owned a credit card or started paying my student loans.

Tarot Pull:

From the Animal Spirit Deck: the Earthworm: shy, hesitant, reluctant to share inner vision. This card is a reminder not to be intimidated or lose hope. Mastery takes time and you are on the right track. Speak up and risk embarrassment, it will be worth it.

Favorite Things This Month:

  1. I am crushing on this artist hard. Her shamanic style paintings inspire me so much and her messages always feel uplifting and magical.

  2. Whether or not you are a knitter or crocheter, I think you will appreciate the fuzzy creations by this knitwear designer. If any of you are knitters or would like to learn please hit reply on this email so we can share patterns and projects with each other.

  3. With coronavirus and flu season around the corner I have been thinking about all the ways I can continue to support my immune system. Anima Mundi has become my favorite resource for herbal information and products. The founder's newsletter is one of the ones I look forward to receiving because its always so full of helpful facts and profiles on different plant medicines.

  4. My partner thinks I am really weird when I suggest having savory oats for breakfast but this is easily one of my favorite dishes for when the cold weather hits. I also love that it can be served at any meal, is extremely affordable, nourishing, and customizable with toppings and flavor profiles. I love variety at the breakfast table.

  5. If you’re looking for a little fall healing practice, try out this sound bath created by one of my lovely new clients, Melody.
