Truer Love is a relationship coaching service for modern, female-identifying people to expand their confidence in relationships with others and themselves through support and community.
Taryn, the founder of Truer Love, came to us with a desire to authentically connect with her future clients and share her passion for self-love with others.
The Challenge:
She wanted to have a feminine brand that was warm and welcoming to give her clients a sense of ease. She felt torn between her personal style which is a little bit rebellious and a little bit boho while still feeling modern, relatable, conveyed her values.
The Brand Values:
Feminine, Empowering, Candid
Breaking out of the paradigm and supporting women through their relationships.
Being welcoming and open, using heart and humor, and having a rebellious “cut-the-bullshit” vibe.
Empowering modern females to take the lead in their own lives and relationships.
The Solution:
We chose warm, welcoming, and balanced colors that feel feminine and comforting in order to give her clients a comfortable feeling when sharing difficult emotions. We chose imagery that is fun, modern, and empowered because we wanted her themes of self-love and strength to be carried throughout her website and social media feed.
Fonts, Graphics, and Vibe:
We aimed to create fonts and graphics that have a hand-drawn human touch that feel relatable and relaxed. The particular font we used is called Vacations Brush.
The vibe of Truer Love is gentle, but also not afraid to push boundaries. It has a "soft rebel energy" which is the new paradigm and we are 👏🏼here👏🏼for👏🏼 it!
To Integrate It
As we were working together, we realized that it is often difficult to distinguish the difference between what the business may need to strategically communicate its offerings to its ideal clients with the visual preferences of the business owner. It is difficult to separate ourselves from our work when we are deeply passionate about what we do. However, our businesses need to have a life of their own in order to stand out to serve our clients best.
By honing in on our values, we are able to integrate these two sides of ourselves: our business and our preferences. We were able to blend Taryn’s visual cravings with the needs of her clients when we dug a little deeper to find out what we really needed the brand to communicate. Truer Love is now 1:1 coaching with future workshops in the works and has a beautiful brand to share with her community.
