November 2021 Moodboard + Playlist

November moodboard with dark red, maroon, and black color palette

November, transformational, sensual, connected to the spirit realm

This month is ruled by Pluto, the planet of death and transformation. It's also Scorpio season which allows us to seek out the aspects of our lives in which we would like to experience transformation. The colors for this month are maroon, deep reds, and black along with visuals that reflect a connection with darkness and sensuality. This brand inspiration would be ideal for a business focused on guiding others towards transformation, the creative or magic arts, and spirituality.

Vision for the Month:

The energy of this month is both spiritual and psychological. Scorpio season is about diving in to the depths of our souls to pull out the nuggets of truth, find what drives our desires, and come out the other side with a refreshed perspective. It is a time that nurtures growth and transformation. So, our vision for the month is to awknowledge that we are already on the right path, keep exploring our desires, and figuring out where in our lives we would like to experience transformation so that we may burn it down and rise from the ashes. We want to spend the month creating for the sake of creating, overcoming what brings us fear and holds us back, and surrendering to the process.

Tarot Pull

From the Animal Spirit Deck: The Rabbit Animal Spirit appears when we are being nervous nellies and talking ourselves into a negative spiral. Where can we get quiet and just surrender to what is happening? How can we relinquish our constant need for control and let go of some of our fear? How can we remain in the present moment right now, or right now, or right now?

Favorite Things

  1. This visual meditation produced by one of our favorite makers, Memor Studio is soothing and comforting especially if you are in need of some nature time.

  2. These textural and sustainably made yoga mats are both beautiful and functional. They are plan dyed and each product describes the various benefits of the plants. What a beautiful concept!

  3. All hail the cozy season, I am a big soup/stew fan and this recipe is an easy go-to for cold nights.

  4. If things have been stressful lately and you are looking for something mellow to put you at ease, these botanical hemp smokes look amazing. This apothecary is based in Brooklyn and all of the products they make are ethically sourced and effectively researched.

  5. If you are a fan of Practical Magic, this new installation to the story might get your witchy self excited.
