April 2021 Moodboard + Playlist
April,
between two opposites
This month is all about equilibrium between dark and light, short days and long days, and hot and cold as we embrace the liminal space of Spring. I wanted the color palette to embrace that feeling of these dualities while the energy of this brand inspiration feels young and exciting like the first time you open your windows after a long winter. I would recommend this brand inspiration for a maker, creative, or dreamer who would like to appeal to Millenial and GenZ clientele while appearing minimalistic and 'hot-off-the-press'.
Vision for the Month:
As we move full steam ahead into the month of April, ruled by Mars—the plant of action, passion, and drive, I would like to focus my energy on bringing my creative visions to life. I have spent the past couple of months in hibernation mode, working on the back end of my business, and now it is time to rise from the ashes and start sharing what has been brewing in my brain. I will take action on this vision by making a promise to myself to use my camera every day, continue to meditate daily, and take inventory of what I am grateful for every morning in my journal. I am also reconnecting with my health and establishing an exercise routine again, doing a spring cleanse, and finally getting a water bottle so that I can stay hydrated!
What are your visions for April?
Tarot Pull:
From the Animal Spirit Deck: The Phoenix: One of the MVPs for transformation, the phoenix is constantly rebuilding itself anew to be better than it was before. I am going to truly embrace this energy this spring as I rebuild my health and creative well-being with action after lying dormant and internal this winter. I hope you feel inspired to rise from the ashes too.
Favorite Things This Month:
Keep an eye on our site and social media for any updates. Take a look at our beautiful logo designed by the very talented Rosiee Studio. If you look closely, you will notice the details of the logo are made with real human hair! This is what our brand is all about, being experimental, using our hands to create, and expressing our creativity in every facet we can. We are looking for other creatives and dreamers to collaborate with on future projects so please reply to this email if you're interested.

I love any sensory objects that help me connect with my environment or my body. These phone cases are the coolest, most playful device holders. They make a sculpture and a phone stand in one. And they are handmade by a female artist in LA.

Has anyone else's skin been dry af lately? I have never really worn lotion but this year I have noticed a significant change in my skin and I am working to combat the environmental effects. This oil smells lovely and I am pleased its a multi-use product. The less the better I think. Do you have any favorite body oils that you would recommend?
One of my favorite food bloggers has just launched a line of dukkah-inspired crunchy toppings that range from spicy, to savory, and floral. I love putting anything nutty or crispy on tops of all of my salads, pasta, etc.
